Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of relevant experience and strong SQL skills.

The position offers a competitive salary between $120,000 and $140,000 plus bonuses and a range of perks including a 401K, paid parental leave, and access to free baseball tickets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data related to baseball.
• Experience communicating professionally in a customer support role with technical and non-technical users.
• Substantive knowledge of SQL or similar database querying experience.
• Experience using R and/or Python for data analysis in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Investigate potential data quality issues both proactively and responsively.
• Lead large data initiatives focused on strategic R&D goals.
• Implement high impact process changes based on internal operations data.
• Define and enforce high standards for data documentation and code review.
• Build optimized queries and present findings to MLB and Club personnel.
