Qualifications

• Knowledge of technical aspects of the sport and willingness to learn new techniques.
• Education: Diploma, Transcripts, GED.

Responsibilities

• Attend OHSAA pre-season meetings.
• Attend CMSD pre/post season coaches meetings.
• Follow CMSD/OHSAA guidelines and rules.
• Attend and arrive promptly to practices and games.
• Track and communicate student eligibility status.
• Submit roster, schedule, and transportation paperwork to Head coach/ Athletic Director.
• Distribute, collect, and care for uniforms and equipment.
• Participate in scheduled professional development by Athletics Department.
• Upload scores and statistics to CMSD reporting site.
• Cooperate with head coach to implement program vision.
• Communicate with Central Office about forfeited games or payments due to not fulfilling duties.
• Supervise students before and after practice and competitions.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators.
• Communicate effectively with other coaches regarding roles and responsibilities.
