Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior programmer/specialist in Portland, OR to design control algorithms, manage databases, and integrate multiple systems across projects. You will lead start-ups, document procedures, and train end users on complex automation platforms, including Niagara N4, Distech, and other major BAS software.

Required are 5+ years in building automation, strong BAS/BMS programming skills, and experience with Distech or Tridium Niagara N4.

As a senior programmer/specialist on our team, you will be responsible for creating control algorithms, managing system databases, integrating multiple systems, executing project start-ups, and providing training and documentation for end users. We also expect our programmers to have experience inspecting, testing, adjusting, and repairing automation systems, and modifying programs and graphics on Niagara N4 sites.

Job Details

Salary: $110,000 - $135,000 per year

MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of building automation, HVAC controls, or BMS experience
• Strong BAS/BMS programming and graphics experience
• Distech or Tridium Niagara N4
• If you do not have Distech or Tridium, must have extensive experience with one of the other major platforms (JCI, Siemens, Schneider, ALC)

NICE TO HAVE

• Niagara N4 certification
• Distech certification
