Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Building Automation Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain building control systems across commercial sites in South Carolina. The role requires hands-on experience with major BMS platforms and strong problem-solving skills.

You will test devices, program controllers, interpret drawings, and support proposals for retrofits while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction on every site visit.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of diagnosis and repair experience in building automation and controls.
• Experience with major BMS platforms and ability to test/modify control software.
• Ability to interpret control drawings, plans and sequences of operations.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; able to travel to sites.
• Willing to pass background check and drug test; High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building automation and controls systems.
• Test devices, program controllers, and perform start-up activities.
• Interpret control drawings, plans and sequence of operations.
• Interface with customers during site assessments and proposals for retrofits.
• Document work with daily time entries and progress notes; maintain records.
• Ensure safety and comply with company policies on every job.
