Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician for a full-time on-site role in Newtown Square, PA. The position requires advanced BAS troubleshooting and BACnet controller expertise, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems across facilities.

You will lead projects, guide junior staff, review vendor work, and ensure safety and reliability of HVAC, plumbing, and related infrastructure. A valid Journeyman license and EPA refrigeration certification are required.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting.
• Possession of a Journeyman license in one trade; multiple licenses are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to read blueprints and specs.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
• Demonstrate advanced diagnostic skills across equipment types.
• Maintain HVAC, electrical and mechanical building systems and related equipment.
• Lead a group of workers on a project.
• Update work statuses and costs using company systems.
• Oversee fleet maintenance support and on-campus operations.
• Read blueprints and models to plan work layout.
• Respond to emergency problems and perform repairs as needed.
