Job summary

Kelly Engineering is seeking a highly experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our Chandler, AZ team. You will design, develop, and debug bare-metal firmware for robust hardware systems, collaborating with hardware and QA to ensure reliability.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in embedded software, strong C/C++, Python, and experience with ARM, STM32, RTOS, and bootloaders. Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/EE required; excellent problem solving and teamwork a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, EE, or related field.
• 10+ years embedded software experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Strong Python scripting for testing and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug bare-metal embedded systems and firmware.
• Optimize code and troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and interfaces.
• Author technical documentation and maintain code repositories.
• Mentor junior engineers and review code for quality and functionality.
• Participate in software architecture discussions and contribute to long-term technology strategies.
