Job summary

Farmington Country Club seeks an experienced Event Operations Manager to oversee daily event function operations and staff of 30+ with four assistant managers. You will partner with the Director of Food and Beverage to align with the club’s vision, manage the department budget, and ensure top-tier service across multiple event spaces.

You will drive staff development, maintain high quality standards, and ensure compliance with beverage service goals, safety, and sanitation for memorable member

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant, resort, hotel, or club.
• College degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred.
• Advanced beverage and wine service knowledge; certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and lead the event service team of 30+ staff and 4 assistants.
• Develop department goals and participate in annual budgeting.
• Oversee event service quality and ensure safety and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with Beverage Manager on beverage service and training (TIPS).
• Maintain floor presence during events and assist host as needed.
• Lead interdepartmental relations and participate in weekly meetings.
