Job summary

Dechert LLP seeks a Senior Paralegal to provide sophisticated litigation and transactional support across bankruptcy engagements. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to bill 1500 hours annually in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle case administration, dockets, filing, and coordination with clients, witnesses, and counsel, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and support complex asset sale matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Paralegal Certificate a plus.
• 3+ years of paralegal experience in bankruptcy at a law firm, with hands-on Chapter 11 exposure.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain case dockets in PACER and firm docketing systems with deadlines and hearings.
• Prepare master case calendars, critical dates memos, and trackers for active matters.
• Draft, file, and format bankruptcy pleadings, motions, notices, orders, and adversary complaints via CM/ECF.
