Seven years of related experience is required, with transferable business welcomed. The role focuses on complex restructurings, Chapter 11, cross-border matters, and related commercial disputes for national and global clients across diverse industries.

Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and Florida Bar in good standing.
• Minimum 7 years of creditor-side bankruptcy, restructuring or commercial litigation experience.
• Experience in bankruptcy-related litigation, including Chapter 11 and cross-border matters.
• Ability to guide clients through distressed situations with sound judgment and advocacy.

Aufgaben

• Represent clients in business bankruptcy matters, including Chapter 11 proceedings, contested matters, adversary proceedings, and related insolvency litigation.
• Counsel and advocate for creditors, investors, distressed debt lenders, trustees, committees, and other business entities in bankruptcy court and related proceedings.
• Develop and execute litigation strategy in matters involving significant financial and operational risk.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, objections, briefs, and other pleadings in bankruptcy and related commercial litigation matters.
• Manage discovery, depositions, witness preparation, court appearances, mediations, and trials.
• Advise clients on bankruptcy-related risk, litigation exposure, restructuring options, and case strategy.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff across offices to deliver strong business-focused outcomes.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the growth and development of the bankruptcy practice.
• Participate in business development efforts, thought leadership, and professional networking within the restructuring and insolvency community.

Ausbildung
