Job summary

LevelUP HCS is seeking an in-house legal counsel in New York City to support the financing documentation function for the bank’s North American operations. The role involves negotiating, drafting, and reviewing commercial credit transactions.

The candidate will represent the bank on a wide range of bank-financed deals, advise on regulatory and product-related matters, and provide ongoing legal support for U.S. subsidiaries across various finance areas.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of corporate banking/financial services law experience.
• Admitted to New York Bar.
• Law school graduate.

Responsibilities

• Represent the bank on bank-financed credit transactions including senior, secured, subordinated or unsecured, syndicated or bilateral credit agreements.
• Cover mult currency facilities, letters of credit, receivables and asset-based financings, project finance, public finance, aircraft, acquisitions and restructurings, bankruptcy and workout matters, international trade finance.
• Advise and represent the firm on secondary market transactions and provide general legal support to operating areas.
