Deutsche Bank’s legal department in New York City seeks a Corporate Bank Senior Counsel to support the Corporate Bank business, including cash management, trade finance, and trust and securities services. You will provide timely legal counsel on domestic and global transactions while balancing risk and business needs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating bank finance and commercial documents.
• Experience with cash management and/or trade finance documentation.
• Strong writing and communication skills; risk analysis.
• Active bar admission in NY/FL preferred.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day legal counsel to Corporate Bank teams in NYC.
• Advise on regulations affecting cash management and trade finance.
• Identify and escalate unusual legal, operational or credit risks.
• Structure new transactions and product offerings with reduced external counsel reliance.
• Collaborate with partners across departments to balance risk and business needs.
