Job summary

This senior attorney will conduct legal research, draft high-priority documents, and provide actionable guidance to business leaders and stakeholders on matters with strategic impact.

The role requires strong legal judgment, business acumen, and the ability to translate legal requirements into practical guidance while managing compliance risk.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and licensed to practice in good standing.
• 8 years of post-bar experience in law firm, government, and/or corporate settings.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize matters and manage time effectively.
• Ability to handle a heavy workload and meet deadlines.
• Able to work autonomously and collaboratively with teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance and training on consumer and commercial deposit products, debit cards, digital experiences, and system-related matters for product managers and operations teams.
• Review regulatory developments and advise business, compliance, risk, and operations.
• Counsel stakeholders on impacts to retail and commercial deposit operations and customer communications.
• Support development and enhancement of deposit-related strategy, products, and processes.
• Draft and review client agreements, disclosures, forms, and customer communications.
• Advise on core retail banking operations, including deposit servicing and payments.
