Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Machine Repair Technician Level 3 to lead advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of complex baggage handling systems and associated components. This senior role focuses on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance with strong team leadership and detailed documentation to ensure airport operations run safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Valid Driver’s License is required.
Ability to obtain necessary security clearance.
5+ years’ experience in maintenance operations.
Available to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair BHS and related electrical/mechanical systems.
Perform scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance; lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance efforts.
Lead and delegate tasks while communicating professionally with customers and team members.
Replace system components (e.g., encoders, photo eyes, controllers) and interpret manuals/work orders.
Accurately document maintenance activity in CMMS and analyze system data to identify and resolve issues.
Communicate critical updates to supervisors and operate equipment such as forklifts and company vehicles.
Support daily operations by clearing baggage jams and ensuring minimal system downtime.
