Job summary

DELVIX is seeking a Senior Backup Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise backup, data protection, and disaster recovery across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise backup/DR, strong experience with HPE Zerto and Commvault, and a focus on VMware, AWS, Azure, and GCP. Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise backup & disaster recovery experience.
• 5+ years with HPE Zerto.
• 5+ years with Commvault Command Center & CommCell Console.
• 5+ years of PowerShell scripting/automation.
• 5+ years protecting large-scale VMware environments.
• 5+ years managing Commvault storage policies, schedule policies, Aux Copies, and DDB backups.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.

Responsibilities

• Architect and support enterprise backup & disaster recovery solutions
• Design backup/recovery strategies for VMware, AIX, HP-UX, NAS, Windows, and Linux
• Configure and troubleshoot Commvault SaaS for Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Azure VMs, Blob Storage, AWS EC2/EFS/S3, and GCP VMs
• Architect end-to-end replication and DR solutions using HPE Zerto
• Configure and manage Commvault IntelliSnap for high-speed backup and recovery
• Support database backups for Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, and PostgreSQL
• Implement immutable/WORM storage using AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Manage Commvault Hyperscale appliances, VTL, and tape libraries
• Support VMware and cloud Auto Recovery solutions
• Manage storage policies, schedule policies, Aux Copies, and DDB backups
