About the Position

As a Senior Software Engineer on our Trading Infrastructure team, you will help us develop scalable infrastructure that processes millions of orders each day while providing cutting edge services to high-end financial customers. An ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing and implementing trading systems in traditional finance or crypto trading industries using technologies like Golang, C#, or Java.

What You'll Do

• Work on features to increase the speed and functionality of our trading infrastructure: including new trading algorithms, exchange integrations, performance improvements, or new platform features.
• Contribute to system architecture and roadmap planning with our CTO office.
• Collaborate with Product Management to plan new features, optimize service performance, and write tests.
• Develop expertise in our trading systems and related services.
• Apply deductive reasoning to solve complex problems beyond your local environment.

About You

• Proven experience designing and implementing trading systems in finance or cryptocurrency sectors.
• Deep knowledge of order types, routing, exchange management, and system performance.
• Experience building high-performance, low-latency distributed trading systems.
• 8-10 years of hands-on software engineering experience; Golang is desirable, but C# and Java are applicable.
• Self-starter capable of managing projects from conception to deployment and beyond.
• Prioritize code quality, testing infrastructure, execution speed, security, and user experience over 'cool tech.'

Nice to Have

• Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.
• Experience with SQL and Snowflake for data manipulation.

sFOX is a remote first company. The expected compensation range for this role is $180,000 - $210,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location.
