What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle
- Lead design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering quality across the organization
- Mentor other engineers and share best practices to improve processes
- Utilize programming languages and tools to perform advanced-level Mobile/Web/UI design and implementation

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Fluency with at least two modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Golang
- Proven understanding of microservices architecture and extensible REST APIs
- 4+ years of professional software development experience with web frameworks/languages
- 3+ years of experience with architecture and design
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
- Knowledge of security protocols and products such as Active Directory and OAuth
- Familiarity with application monitoring tools and performance assessments
- Experience in open-source frameworks
- In-depth knowledge of computer science data structures and algorithms
