Compunnel, Inc. seeks a Senior Backend Java Developer with deep AWS cloud experience to design and build scalable enterprise applications.

You will work on backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and GraphQL, leveraging NoSQL and graph databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j, and Neptune. The role emphasizes architecture, performance, security, and mentoring teammates in a cloud-native, microservices environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of professional Java development experience.
Strong expertise in Java, object-oriented design, and enterprise-grade architectures.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) and graph databases (Neo4j, Neptune).
Deep AWS cloud experience including Lambda, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, S3, ECS/Fargate, Aurora.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise apps in AWS.
Build backend services using Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.
Architect scalable solutions meeting reliability, performance, and business needs.
Mentor junior developers and ensure code quality through reviews and testing.
Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architecture decisions.
Collaborate across teams to resolve technical challenges and improve processes.
