Job summary

Siteline is hiring a senior backend-focused engineer to own design and evolution of our backend, APIs, and infrastructure. You’ll work closely with product and other engineers to ship features from concept to production, and help guide the system architecture as we scale.

As an early member of Siteline, you’ll influence engineering decisions, own core workflows, and help build robust integrations while shaping the company culture and technology direction.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of professional software experience with backend emphasis.
• Strong knowledge of scalable backend systems and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership: set engineering direction and ensure quality across the stack.
• Infrastructure: evolve the tech stack to support growth and scale.
• Systems design: architect data models and reliable APIs for scale.
• Product development: collaborate with product to plan and implement features, mainly backend and APIs.
• Integrations: build and maintain robust integrations with external platforms.
• Team building: mentor teammates and foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.
