Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking exceptional backend engineers to join our ClickPipes Platform team. You will scale a high-performance data onboarding platform, own multi-cloud infrastructure, and drive improvements in deployment pipelines and reliability.

This role emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, and ownership in a distributed, petabyte-scale environment. Ideal candidates have 5+ years building backend systems, deep expertise in Golang, Kubernetes, and Terraform, and strong cloud provider knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience building backend systems.
• Expertise in Golang, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-native architecture.
• Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across teams.
• Strong debugging and incident response skills.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and scale our high-performance data onboarding platform to handle real-time data.
• Own and evolve infrastructure across AWS and expansion to GCP and Azure.
• Improve deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational processes.
• Lead architectural discussions impacting scalability and resilience.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure reliability and respond to incidents.
• Continuously improve systems based on metrics and customer feedback.
