Swish Analytics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to own and lead core backend products, delivering high-traffic APIs and microservices with a focus on latency, reliability, and scalability.

You will work across teams to design, implement, and operate real-time data processing systems, Kubernetes workloads, and cloud cost optimizations, while mentoring others and raising coding standards. The role requires 5+ years of production software experience, Node.js and Python, and

Qualifications

5+ years of production software engineering experience with backend ownership.
Design high-traffic APIs and microservices for reliability and performance.
Strong collaboration and communication with technical and nontechnical partners.
Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, SWE, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

Serve as the technical lead for core backend products from design to production.
Design and improve high-traffic APIs and microservices with low latency.
Identify bottlenecks and drive production-ready improvements.
Develop services for real-time and distributed data processing.
Review architectures, document tradeoffs, and raise coding standards.
Improve observability, testing, and maintainability; mentor others.
Contribute to Kubernetes workload optimization and cloud efficiency.
