Nubank is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Buenos Aires to help shape the technical direction of distributed systems and microservices. You will work across multiple teams, evangelize best practices, and contribute to end-to-end platforms while learning our tech stack, including Clojure, Finagle, Kafka, and cloud services.

The role emphasizes building scalable backend services, mentoring others, and maintaining high standards of code quality, observability, and security in a hybrid work

Qualifications

4+ years developing digital products in complex environments.
Experience with large-scale distributed systems and microservices.
Strong background in OO or FP languages and multi-language work.

Responsibilities

Design and evolve large-scale distributed systems across teams.
Set technical direction and align with architecture strategies.
Mentor engineers and maintain high technical standards.
Contribute to backend development and potentially mobile/frontend when needed.
Ensure observability and robust error handling.
