Qualifications

• At least 8 years building digital products in complex environments.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and cloud technologies.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale systems serving thousands/millions of users.
• Strong background in object-oriented or functional programming; multi-language capability.
• Able to lead technical initiatives across multiple teams without direct authority.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise the technical bar.
• Practical knowledge of Agile development and CI/CD practices.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with large-scale distributed systems and understand architecture and trade-offs.
• Set technical direction for multiple teams aligned with architecture strategies.
• Drive pragmatic, resilient, secure, scalable solutions across products/geographies.
• Mentor engineers and maintain high technical standards.
• Write, test, instrument, document, and maintain high-quality code.
• Pair and review code to grow team capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders on end-to-end experiences.
• Ensure observability, performance monitoring, and robust error handling.
• participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Focus on backend while contributing to mobile/front-end as needed.
