Job summary

WHOOP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Business Systems team in Boston to design and build backend services powering internal operations. You will architect scalable solutions that enable Finance, Operations, and Member Services to scale globally.

You will lead API design, data pipelines, and automation while mentoring engineers and collaborating with stakeholders to balance business needs with technical excellence.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional backend software engineering.
• Experience with Java, Python, or Go and API design.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Mentoring engineers and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to leverage AI tools in daily tasks.
