This role involves developing systems for concurrent execution, owning data infrastructure, and collaborating on scalable solutions. Candidates should have strong proficiency in Go and/or Python, coupled with experience in distributed systems. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $175,000 to $225,000, along with benefits like health coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Experience with consensus mechanisms, queueing, state machines, and workflow orchestration.
• Ability to work cross-functionally on a small team.

Responsibilities

• Design distributed queue and worker systems for concurrent agent execution.
• Own core data infrastructure and state persistence.
• Collaborate on scalable architectural decisions.
• Ship resumable streaming infrastructure.
• Instrument and monitor production systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations for runtime.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Contribute to and extend open-source LangGraph.
