Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to our IT Operations product suite, designing and implementing scalable backend solutions. You’ll work with Java, Kotlin, Ruby, C#, and Postgres to build high-availability services that serve millions of endpoints.

You’ll collaborate with teams in the USA and Asia, mentor engineers, and own design and architecture. The role focuses on backup/restore services for partners worldwide, with hybrid remote options in the USA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in Java software development for product applications; Kotlin expertise desired.
• Experience with C# and Ruby is a plus; 4+ years building scalable systems.
• Strong knowledge of OOP design, APIs and REST services.
• Relational DB design and SQL tuning; Big Data/ETL is a plus.
• Caching with Redis; Kafka and streaming data knowledge is beneficial.
• Excellent problem solving, collaboration and architecture skills.
