Job summary

Metasys Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and maintain backend services and data pipelines powering our core product. You will collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, scalable software and raise the bar for engineering quality across the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring framework.
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL and geospatial queries (PostGIS).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services with the Spring ecosystem.
• Model and optimize PostgreSQL databases with PostGIS.
• Containerize and deploy using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent).
• Architect and operate AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate in code reviews and uphold standards.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
