Silversmith Capital Partners is looking for an engineer to design, deliver, and maintain highload real-time web services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust recommendations services while working in a fully remote environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong computer science background, experience in highload systems, and proficiency in cloud tools like AWS. Benefits include unlimited vacation and a competitive salary of $80k–$120k.

Qualifications

• Strong computer science background & familiarity with networking principles.
• Experience in designing, developing & maintaining highload real-time services.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in a scripting language like Python and compiled languages like Go or Rust.
• Experience in server-side coding for web services.
• Skilled in setting up observability tools.
• Familiar with Service-Oriented Architecture and communication protocols.
• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases.
• Familiar with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver & maintain highload real-time web services.
• Build, deploy, and support robust recommendations services.
• Write AWS CloudFormation scripts and CI/CD pipelines.
• Set up service observability and monitoring metrics.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical partners.
