Job summary

MLabs is hiring a mid- to senior-level Backend Engineer in New York. Join a team building a centralized pricing plane and a real-time pricing system to attract liquidity across DeFi markets.

You will partner with quants, infra, and data engineers to scale infrastructure, APIs, and internal tooling while ensuring robust security and guardrails. The role is hybrid, full-time, with competitiveness and equity incentives.

Qualifications

• Go expertise with AI tooling usage and validation.
• Strong database schema design and evolution experience.
• Experience with trading systems or financial instruments is a plus.
• Familiar with modern tech stack: Postgres, NATS, Redpanda, gRPC, REST, WebSockets.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Entity Service API to manage assets, mappings, market hours, data providers, and parameters.
• Build the internal Entity Service UI with ACLs and user management for configuration changes.
• Architect a low-latency pricing system to price transactions in real time.
• Collaborate with quants, infra, data, and backend engineers to reflect precise dollar values across the system.
• Propose and own initiatives, evaluating needs and enabling fast internal workflows.
