Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Developer with deep Python expertise and a strong background in networking, DevOps, and message brokers. You will design, develop, and deploy mission-critical applications that are secure, scalable, and maintainable in production.

In this hands-on role, you will bridge software development, network engineering, and operations. You will build scalable backend services, REST/gRPC APIs, and CI/CD pipelines on a cloud platform, with focus on

Formación

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years backend with Python, Go, Java, C++, or Node.js; cloud and networking exposure.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and pub/sub systems.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop scalable backend services and microservices for cloud and IoT-scale systems.
• Build REST/gRPC APIs and pub/sub architectures using message brokers such as MQTT, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Pub/Sub.
• Enable secure device-to-cloud and service-to-service communication using MQTT and event-driven patterns.
• Build and operate automated CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments using Docker and GKE.
• Apply deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, and VPC networking; troubleshoot complex issues with Wireshark.
• Design efficient SQL/NoSQL data models and implement security practices using IAM, Cloud KMS, and Secrets Manager.
• Collaborate with network and security teams; mentor engineers and conduct code reviews.
