Job summary

HEN Technologies is building Physical AI for emergency response with STAR-IQ and related subsystems. You will define interoperability architecture across CAD, GIS, identity, telemetry, and incident-command systems while delivering robust integrations and data normalization for real-time incident management.

You will work with CAD vendors and fire departments to ensure reliable, CJIS-compliant integration and scalable deployment across devices and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years building production integrations between backend services and third-party systems.
• Public-safety, healthcare, fintech, telecom, or industrial backgrounds translate well.
• Experience with CAD, RMS, or other public-safety systems and GIS tooling.
• Familiarity with CJIS, FedRAMP, or similar regulated frameworks.
• Strong backend engineering experience in Python and TypeScript/Node.js.

Responsibilities

• CAD integration: design and maintain an integration service ingesting CAD data and exposing it to STAR-IQ.
• Build and ingest FD preplan and building data into STAR-IQ backend.
• Mapping and GIS: integrate Mapbox, ESRI, and GIS layers for maps and dashboards.
• Identity and device management: implement SSO, AuthN/AuthZ (GCP), and MDM workflows.
• Maintain audit data and data separation across production, training, and simulated data.
• Write integration docs, payload samples, and conformance tests for vendor integrations.
