Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production backend, platform, or distributed systems.
• Strong fundamentals in API design, data modeling, storage systems, transactional workflows, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience delivering highly correct, reliable, observable, secure systems for business-critical workloads.

Responsibilities

• Own ambiguous, business-critical problems from definition through launch and operation.
• Design scalable backend architectures with product-oriented mindset for external customers and internal users.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Data, and Go-to-Market teams.
• Ensure tradeoffs between near-term delivery and long-term system quality.
• Move quickly and independently in a dynamic environment where priorities evolve.
