Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to design, develop, test, and document a modern web application. You will work independently to identify improvements, contribute to validation efforts, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years in cloud or web application software development.
• Expert knowledge of C# and .Net Core.
• Experience designing, developing and testing containerized micro-services.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines deploying to Kubernetes via Helm.
• Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, CosmosDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with enterprise messaging bus preferred.
• Proficient with Docker containers for development and deployment.
• Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud technologies.
• Ability to translate high-level requirements into software design and implementation.
• Independent worker who delivers high-quality work without close supervision.
• Ability to lead and direct junior team members.
• Strong communication to convey information and lead discussions.
• Ability to persuade and consolidate information effectively.
• See change as opportunity to improve business performance.
• Knowledge of REST API contract design.

• Design, document, develop and test a modern web application using best practices.
• Identify software improvements and contribute to testing and validation.
• Design, develop and test units per software process documents.
• Propose process improvements and implement gaps.
• Utilize AI tools to develop modern, maintainable code.
• Create software design specifications and interface descriptions.
• Translate high-level requirements into design and implementation.
• Develop, execute and verify unit/integration tests; apply TDD.
• Perform code reviews and mentor peers/juniors.
