The role emphasizes Java with Spring, cloud architectures on AWS, and modern persistence layers (Aurora/DynamoDB), with telecommuting up to 50% within the same location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive software development experience.
• Master's degree plus 3 years of software development experience.
• 3 years of experience coding in Java with Spring or Spring Boot Framework.
• 3 years of experience with Messaging Stream Solutions.
• 3 years of experience with modern persistence technologies in payments/banking/e-commerce backed by Aurora or DynamoDB.
• 3 years of experience with at least one frontend framework (React JS or Angular Js).
• 3 years of experience with Typescript, Golang, Scala, Rust, or Python.
• 3 years of experience building cloud apps on AWS with Docker or Kubernetes.
• 3 years of experience with Agile development of distributed services.

Responsibilities

• Build reliable, scalable, high‑performance compliance systems that support business objectives.
• Lead full SDLC: requirements capture, design, testing, deployment and improvement of backend apps.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and ensure engineering excellence standards.
