Job summary
GM seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize the Mobile Backend for Frontend platform and back-office integration services. You will craft secure, scalable microservices in Java/Spring Boot, deploying on Azure and integrating with enterprise systems.
You will advance API development, cloud-native operations, and observability while mentoring peers and shaping engineering standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with Java/Spring Boot.
- Proven microservices and RESTful API design in distributed systems.
- Cloud experience, preferably Azure, with containerized deployments.
- Strong DevOps, CI/CD, automated deployment, and observability skills.
- Experience with TDD and modern software engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize scalable microservices and APIs using Java/Spring Boot.
- Deploy and operate services on Azure (AKS, API Management, Cosmos DB, SQL).
- Strengthen CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation with Azure DevOps.
- Improve observability with Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, and related tools.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture/documentation standards.
