You will work with MySQL, Redis/Memcached, Linux, and RESTful APIs, collaborating with front-end and platform teams to ensure reliability, uptime, and performance at scale.

Qualifications

• 8 years of backend engineering experience delivering scalable, high-traffic platforms.
• 10 years of object-oriented programming with PHP 8+.
• Deep MySQL knowledge with indexing, normalization and query optimization.
• Strong Linux administration and HTTP/HTTPS/web protocol expertise.
• Working knowledge of modern JavaScript/TypeScript for backend-frontend collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput backend services for a global video platform.
• Structure and optimize MySQL schemas and caching layers for performance.
• Develop RESTful/internal APIs and modernize legacy code.
• Implement async queues, workers, and large-scale data pipelines.
• Drive engineering best practices through code reviews and cross-team collaboration.
