Field Materials is building AI-native construction procurement software that automates workflows in procurement, AP, and inventory management. You will own data models, API design, and distributed systems processing semantics in a fast-growing startup.

We value engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, iterating with customer feedback, and delivering scalable backend services. A BS in CS and 2-5+ years of Go backend experience are preferred, with strong SQL and GraphQL skills.

Qualifications

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-5+ years of production backend experience, preferably in Go.
• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with SQL databases and complex data models.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Experience with GraphQL, LLMs, and observability is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own data models, API design, and distributed processing semantics.
• Develop AI-native procurement software components and ERP integrations.
• Build scalable backend services with emphasis on reliability and observability.
• Collaborate across teams to iterate on product workflows for procurement, AP, and inventory.
