Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Fleet Provisioning Automation team to design backend services and Go-based APIs, automating provisioning and lifecycle operations for our global bare metal fleet. You will work with Kubernetes, data center tooling, and internal services to ensure scalable, auditable automation.

Collaborating across hardware, data center operations, and platform teams, you will craft test plans, deployment automation, and incident response improvements,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering building and operating production backend services.
• Proficiency in Go for building networked services (gRPC/REST) in production environments.
• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems that operate reliably at scale.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and debugging across processes, networking, and storage.
• Experience with Kubernetes APIs and custom resources (CRDs) and controllers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as Argo, Flux, or GitHub Actions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and APIs (gRPC in Go) coordinating provisioning and lifecycle operations across the fleet.
• Develop Kubernetes CRDs to automate provisioning and lifecycle management of the server fleet.
• Model and evolve RPC schemas and data contracts for integration with fleet workflows.
• Build integrations with vendor and internal APIs to streamline hardware and data center processes.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, data center ops, and platform teams to solve scale challenges across multiple sites.
• Create test plans, deployment automation, and tooling for safe rollouts and continuous improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to incident response and post-incident improvements.
