LaunchDarkly is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Flag Delivery team. You will own critical-path systems streaming feature-flag configurations to SDKs globally, ensuring reliability and low latency in near real time.
You will work on next-gen flag-delivery architecture, streaming rollouts, and scale-hardening using Go, AWS, Terraform, and Datadog, with a strong emphasis on production ownership and observability.
Software powers the world, and LaunchDarkly empowers teams to deliver and control it safely. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Flag Delivery team, you will own the critical-path systems that stream feature-flag configuration to every connected SDK globally, in near real time. These systems run at high scale and have to stay reliable, low-latency, and correct; when they fail, customers lose control of their features.
This is added headcount on a growing team. You will work on the next generation of the flag-delivery architecture, streaming rollouts, and reliability and scale hardening. Our stack is Go, AWS, Terraform, and Datadog, but exact tool match matters less than deep backend expertise and a track record of owning production systems.

Modern software delivery was supposed to be the foundation for a thriving digital business but reality has proven otherwise. Slow, inefficient development cycles, costly outages, and fragmented customer experiences are preventing developers from building their best software. The LaunchDarkly platform helps developers innovate on new features faster while protecting them with a safety valve to instantly rewind when things go wrong. Developers can target product experiences to any customer segment and maximize the business impact of every feature. And by gradually rolling out new application components, they escape nightmare "big-bang" technology migrations.
