Stripe, LLC. seeks a software engineer to design, build, and operate large-scale data platforms and pipelines handling billions of dollars in payment volume. You will translate complex business needs into robust distributed systems and provide technical direction across multiple teams.

You’ll work on fintech data platforms, improving performance, reliability, and compliance in a highly regulated environment. A strong background in Java/Scala/Python and Big Data is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, or related field
• 5 years programming in Java, Scala, or Python
• 5 years designing, building, and maintaining scalable distributed systems
• 5 years debugging production issues across services and stack
• 4 years developing complex SQL queries and data pipelines
• 4 years working in fintech domain
• 4 years leading cross-team projects and aligning technical direction
• 1 year with Apache Spark or similar Big Data tech
