Job summary

A stealth technology company in the United States is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build their core backend systems and APIs for their AI platform. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in backend development, proficiency in Python or similar languages, and expertise in system design. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building backend services from end-to-end.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or a similar language.
• Demonstrated expertise in system design and development.
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform is a huge plus!).

Responsibilities

• Design and build core backend systems and APIs that power Soris products.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and storage systems for high-availability.
• Collaborate with the product division to integrate agentic workflows.
• Work closely with early stakeholders to deliver practical solutions.
• Contribute across the product lifecycle: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
