Job summary

Addepar seeks a Staff Software Engineer to join the Files Platform team, building an enterprise file management system at scale. Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain backend services for enterprise-scale file storage and permissions synchronization.
• Design event-driven systems for real-time permission propagation across financial graph and external storage.
• Collaborate with product managers, security, and compliance on sensitive data access controls.
• Lead migration efforts (e.g., FileVault to Box) with zero-downtime rollouts.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Explore and build AI-powered capabilities for automated metadata extraction and workflows.
