Job summary

Reltio, Inc. seeks an experienced Java backend engineer to help design and deliver large, distributed data systems within our Context Intelligence Platform. You will collaborate with architects, QA, and PM to shape features, review code, and ensure robust testing.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, scalable architectures, and high-quality software delivery in a cloud environment, with a focus on enterprise customers and rapid iteration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in enterprise application design and development.
• 2+ years of experience in backend applications development.
• Proven ability to deliver solutions and engage with customers.
• 1+ years of experience in building scalable distributed data systems using Java and Cloud Technology.
• Strong Java knowledge (Java 8 and above).
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior team members.
• Hands-on technically, comfortable reviewing and writing code.
• Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and large distributed systems.
• Experience in performance optimisations, code profiling, and Java runtime analysis.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with tech leads and architects, Kanban master, QA and PM to deliver high-quality work.
• Develop complex features for the platform.
• Provide good code coverage in unit and integration testing.
• Be ready for everyday technical decisions.
• Maintain professional communication with cross-functional team representatives.
• Support sustenance in areas under engineer’s responsibility.
