Job summary

Vaco LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Developer specializing in Cloud and IoT to join our engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud services powering connected devices, real-time video applications, and IoT ecosystems.

A strong background in Java, AWS, and distributed systems is required, with focus on secure deployment and high performance. You will collaborate across teams, implement automated tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while shaping

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of back-end development with Java.
Experience with AWS cloud services, including DynamoDB, and scalable distributed systems.
Experience with RESTful API design, Kubernetes, Git, and secure cloud deployment.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and modern DevOps practices.
Bonus: IoT ecosystems, smart home/consumer electronics, real-time video streaming, device-to-cloud.

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust backend services that support IoT devices and smart applications.
Develop scalable RESTful APIs powering mobile apps and connected devices.
