EverQuote is seeking a Senior Back End Software Engineer to join our growing team and own the design and delivery of scalable, business-critical applications. This backend-focused, full-stack role offers ownership of large services and cross-functional collaboration.

You will work with TypeScript, Go, or Python, leverage Docker and Kubernetes, and deploy cloud-based systems on AWS for our B2B platform services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional programming experience, including experience at a software product company.
• Experience with TypeScript, Go, Python, or other server-side languages.
• Experience with microservices, Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud deployments (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver key business applications and solutions.
• Improve code quality and velocity using AI-assisted tools.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Architecture teams to align on designs.
• Own large pieces of business-critical functionality.
