Dane Street is seeking a backend engineer in the Washington, DC area to own projects end-to-end—from design through deployment and ongoing support. You will build and maintain backend systems and APIs, and integrate with third-party platforms to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering experience (preferably in Python).
• Experience with AWS (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and system integrations.
• Automation, scripting, and process optimization experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver independently.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end: design, development, deployment, and ongoing support
