Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing, building, and operating production APIs.
• Experience with TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
• Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms.
• Experience designing relational schemas in PostgreSQL.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions.
• Experience supporting production systems and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-grade APIs and event-driven services.
• Develop and maintain services using TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
• Build and support Kafka-based event-driven integrations.
• Design relational database schemas with PostgreSQL.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and tools.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and automated deployments.
• Mentor engineers and review designs and code.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and operational troubleshooting.
