Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced backend/hybrid engineer to own quarterly goals for the Powered by Affirm team. You will lead engineers through designing and implementing APIs for enterprise merchants while ensuring high system availability.

Collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams to solve complex problems using Python or Kotlin, and leverage AWS/Kubernetes to scale distributed systems effectively.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years of experience in backend development using Python or Kotlin and a track record of building distributed systems with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the Powered by Affirm team, leading engineers through design and implementation of APIs for enterprise merchants.
