Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a software engineer specializing in backend development to strengthen infrastructure for AI platforms. You'll design and optimize microservices managed by Kubernetes, build APIs for resiliency stacks, and enable scalable training workflows on NVIDIA hardware across cloud and on-premise environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of hands-on backend development experience with Python, Go, C/C++, or similar high-performance languages.
Proven track record of building and scaling large-scale distributed systems.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

Develop backend services and APIs for AI platforms and training workflows.
Design, implement, and optimize microservices orchestrated by Kubernetes.
Co-design APIs to integrate with NVIDIA resiliency stacks across telemetry, automation, and checkpointing systems.
Build submission abstractions for long-running training jobs with fault-tolerant lifecycles.
Collaborate to deploy modular services on NVIDIA on-premises AI clusters.
