Job summary

WEX, Inc. is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join their North America Mobility organization. This remote position requires the candidate to reside within 30 miles of Dallas, TX. You will be engaged in building the next-generation Agentic AI Platform.

The ideal candidate will design and deploy AI systems, develop robust backend services, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive feature development. Experience in software engineering and familiarity with AI/LLM applications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in backend development, with expertise in Java or C#.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services.
• Develop public REST APIs using Java.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
