Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Audio Engineer for a fully remote, contract role to support AI training efforts. The position offers 20 hours per week, with compensation ranging from $13 to $54 per hour and a duration of up to 6 months. Immediate start is available.

You will evaluate AI-generated music, label by genre and instruments, and review lyrics/vocals against references while working asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve model performance.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Spanish (MX) and able to follow detailed instructions in English.
• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.
